Farewell, Dr. Brett Akana-Schneider!

With yet another farewell Hot Pot festivity, we say goodbye to another amazing postdoctoral scholar, Dr. Brett Akana-Schneider. We will miss the engaging group meeting discussions and brainstorming sessions, but are excited to hear about all of the future successes that will come your way!

Brett pioneered the lab's approach toward redox neutral electrocatalysis, specifically through the development of a unique uphill redox chain that enables highly efficient C–N bond azolation. Culminating in a "Hot Paper" in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Brett's work continues to inspire new strategies in our lab that build on harnessing reactive intermediates through redox-controlled catalysis.
